DESCRIPTION:Join Dallas Baptist University as we honor our Veterans and celebrate "A Life of Service" featuring Dr. Levi Price\, Lt. Trevor Carpenter\, and Pastor Devinion Valentine.\n\n\n\nNovember 11\, 2020\, 11:30am - 1:00pm\n\nVirtual or In-person\, Free lunch provided for in-person attendees\n\n\n\nDr. Levi Price\n\nDr. Levi price served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1966-1967\, reached the rank of Captain\, and received a battlefield commendation.  In addition to his military service\, Dr. Price is a distinguished minister.  He has been a missionary\, pastor\, denominational leader\, and professor.  He has served on numerous boards and is Emeritus Director of Paisano Baptist Encampment.\n\n\n\nLt. Trevor Carpenter\n\nA native Texan and DBU alumnus\, Lt. Carpenter worked in the outdoor education field and served on multiple church staffs in New Mexico and Texas.  He has also led numerous entrepreneurial project abroad. Lt. Carpenter served in the U.S. Navy as a Chaplain.  He currently serves as Command Chaplain for Combat Logistics Battalion for he 3rd Marines.  He received the Navy and Marine Achievement Medal and Navy Commendation Medal.  \n\n\n\nDevinion B. Valentine\n\nValentine\, as he is known\, was born in Dallas and served proudly in the U.S. military for four years.  He currently serves as the Lead Pastor for Omni Fellowship in Cedar Hill\, and his craving to see the gospel grasp the hearts of those living in Cedar Hill and worldwide is contagious.  Valentine's passion to make God known is derived from an all-consuming love for Jesus.
