We have an outstanding panel line up this year of four (4) professional women who have overcome various obstacles to obtain work/life balance.  There will be a Q&A session during the workshop.\n\n\n\nOvercoming Obstacles Panel:\n\n\n\nOVERCOMING:  Gender Bias and preconceived/limiting self-talk\n\n\n\nKate Van Dellen\n\nPilot\, Aerospace Engineer\, Entrepreneur New Trees Education\n\n\n\nOnly 6% of pilots and only 15% of aerospace engineering graduates are female in the US and Kate has experienced gender biases comments and assignments.  She has methods for confronting sexism where it isn't a battle\, but a discussion. \n\n\n\n\n\nOVERCOMING:  Extreme working Mom Challenges\n\n\n\nShunsee Wilson\n\nMarine\, Mom\, Wife\, Child Advocate\, and author of "Mommy Wears A Uniform" and "New School Jitters"\n\n\n\nWork life balance and the challenges of being a Mom are difficult in corporate America\, but being a marine on active duty takes those challenges to a whole new level. \n\n\n\n\n\nOVERCOMING:  Single Mom\, No Degree--Never say "Its too late" for ANYTHING\n\n\n\nSusan Adams\, CPA\n\nSingle Mom\, UNT Graduate\, CPA\, Partner at Huselton\, Morgan\, & Maultsby\, P.C\n\n \n\nWhen you're a single mother trying to figure out life\, sometimes you must take a non-traditional path to get your degree and achieve success in your second career.\n\n\n\n\n\nOVERCOMING:  Climbing the corporate ladder in a non-traditional industry for female executives along with facing a significant Health Issue.\n\n\n\nKaren Burchfield\n\nAssistant Vice President\, Coal Marketing BNSF.  BBA Texas Wesleyan University\, MS Penn State\n\n \n\nWorking Mom who excelled in a male dominated industry and found ways to challenge the corporate cultures and norms.  After being diagnosed and overcoming a significant health issue\, she talks about how she never anticipated an obstacle like this and how important mindset can be in overcoming any obstacle in life.  She has a personal approach to defining success and how you can use that process to overcome anything. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nLUNCH:\n\n \n\nLunch speaker will be Leadership Keynote Speaker\, Work-Life Balance Expert Fawn Germer. It was a long road to center stage for keynote speaker Fawn Germer.
