Are you free for lunch March 19? Join us to find out about Near Westside developments from two community leaders. Councilman Zim Zimmerman from Fort Worth District 3 will be speaking along with Captain Gil Miller, commander of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Bank, at our next Chamber membership luncheon hosted by the West Area Council.
Councilman Zimmerman will be discussing the plans for Z Boaz Park and other renovations for the former golf course, while Capt. Miller will speak about the base now and moving forward.
The vision for Boaz includes a new dog park, so some four-legged friends will be on hand for adoption!
The Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base is the fourth largest employer in Tarrant County and are working with developers and industry to balance and protect traffic and airspace around the base.
