What better way to spend a Saturday morning than helping beautify our community. Let's support the Tarrant Area Food Bank by planting wildflowers in their community garden on their Special Project Day at the Learning Garden. We need 15 volunteers.
This Special Project Day will focus on putting out wildflowers seed throughout the garden for new growth in the spring. New wildflower areas will be established to add to the amount of pollinators we attract to the garden.
Please wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little dirt on (shorts and a t-shirt) and closed-toe shoes. You may want to bring a water bottle (or 2), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and gardening gloves.
No prior experience is required, however volunteers should feel comfortable lifting, bending, stooping and working in outside weather conditions.
