DESCRIPTION:Make a reservation to join us on Tuesday\, June 4th\, for the Impact Your Business Luncheon. \n\n\n\nThe $40 Billion Dollar Monster.\n\n \n\nJoin us at our next Impact Your Business as the team from DFW International Airport will discuss the importance of Fort Worth's presence at the airport and how small businesses can be a part of it.\n\n \n\nAs a small business owner or employee\, learn ways to:\n\n Engage the airport staff\n Leverage the airport's economic database\n Become a supplier/vendor at the airport\n The presentation will include AC/D/M/S/WBE economic activity\, the procurement process and business opportunities at DFW\n\nOur speaker is Tamela Lee\, who serves as the Vice President of Business Diversity and Development at Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport\, where she promotes small\, minority and women owned business enterprises (S/M/WBE) by providing access to contracting opportunities in construction\, goods and services\, concessions\, and commercial development.\n\n\n\nIn this role\, Ms. Lee has implemented the current business diversity programs at the Airport. She is also the Title VI coordinator for the Airport\, ensuring compliance with non-discrimination in business opportunities\, limited English proficiency\, and environmental justice.\n\n \n\nMs. Lee has been involved in the financial\, small business\, and diversity arena for several years. Prior to her position with DFW Airport\, she served as the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity Division (DSBO) for the City and County of Denver's Office of Economic Development and Denver International Airport.\n\n \n\nMs. Lee is involved with numerous community organizations and various chambers supporting their activities. She has conducted several workshops and seminars on financial management and growth strategies for small business.\n\n\n\nThis is a member only event. \n\n\n\nIndividual seats - Once you register\, you will receive a confirmation email if your registration was successfully completed.
