Operations Office Administrative Assistant
Trail Drive Management Corp. – Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX
Dickies Arena will be a 14,000-seat spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena will be owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena, scheduled to open in November 2019, will host concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and will be the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Description
The Dickies Arena Operations Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for facilitating all administrative duties of the Operations Department and assisting the various departments with the day to day functions; departments include IT, Tech Services, Events, Parking, Engineering, Maintenance, and Safety & Security.
Essential Functions

  • Schedule and staff for part time staff within operations departments
  • Reconcile all banks and handling deposits
  • Assist in daily reporting
  • Answer all phone calls
  • Read and route incoming mail
  • Compose and type routine correspondence
  • Organize and maintain file system and files correspondence and other records
  • Greet scheduled visitors and direct to appropriate area or person
  • Order and maintain supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • Handle sensitive, proprietary and confidential information
  • All other duties as assigned
  • At least 3-5 years of related office administrative experience
  • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to type at least 55 wpm
  • Ability to use all office equipment, computer, calculator, copy machines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to handle multiple tasks at a time
  • Good communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid form of identification required
  • All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background screening
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long hours; use hands to handle files, type and operate office machines; to talk and hear on the telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to handle office correspondence.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work may vary and may not exceed 20 hours per week.
