Business Systems Analyst - Lending - EECU

EECU is looking for a Business Systems Analyst that will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize our lending business units’ performance via improve processes and systems. Key responsibilities for this position will be to meet with decision makers, systems owners, and users to define business, financial, and operational requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

Key Responsibilities:

The BSA is highly specialized with an emphasis on technical analysis, process analysis, and solution design.
  • Act as the liaison between lending business units and IT department
  • Complete system proposals, business cases, functional requirements, and project plans
  • participate in or facilitate business process modeling, analysis and design
  • Create systems and application development models and artifacts
  • Support business/member needs around user administration, configuration management, communicating system behaviors, reporting, performance, monitoring, coordinating system needs (end of service life, patching, upgrading), support incoming bugs and defects, as well as assist with project management, development requirements, and change requests
  • Responsible for compliance with all policies, procedures, and federal and state rules and regulations including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act and NCUA Privacy Regulations

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:   

  • Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards  
  • Extensive practical knowledge in data transformation for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex SQL Queries (Reporting Services preferred)  
  • Working technical knowledge of programming languages used at EECU, including, but not limited to, PowerOn, C#, .NET, VBScript, T-SQL  
  • Experience with creating systems models, specifications, diagrams, charts, and process models (BPMN)  
  • Three to seven years of combined Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information systems experience required (unless skills are deemed appropriate by the VP of Information Technology)  
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products  
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in computer-related studies or the equivalent in education and work experience
