EECU has a great opportunity in a dynamic Marketing role!  

Director, Corporate & Digital Communications position, in collaboration with the marketing department, will develop and execute the organization’s corporate brand voice and identity, content strategy, public relations, social media, and internal employee communications. The role is responsible for the conception and development of content for marketing, public relations, social media, video, employee communication, and executive communication that aligns with and supports EECU’s key business objectives, mission, brand, and principles.

 

An ideal candidate is highly motivated, understands how to communicate to a broad audience across multiple channels, and has extensive hands-on experience developing content for digital channels, such as email, web, and social media. This position will be eligible for a sign on bonus of $1,500.00. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Education for the position: 

  • 5+ years professional experience in internal and external communications, with the ability to understand business issues and strategies. 
  • Demonstrate ability to create holistic employee communication programs that span engagement, advocacy, content creation, social platforms, event management, research and measurement.
  • Demonstrated original writing and editing expertise, with commanding knowledge of multi-channel communication strategies (digital, print, and events). 
  • Demonstrated ability to create consumer friendly conversational communication across print, digital, online, and social media channels. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Working knowledge of digital content management platforms, such as Sprout Social, Marketo, and Kentico
  • Execution and Delivery mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications/ Marketing or equivalent experience required. 

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA/FACTA, and Service Members Civil Relief.  Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
