Trail Drive Management Corp. – Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX
Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is the home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.
 
Status: Full-Time
Reporting Structure: Reports to Director of Marketing
Job Description: The marketing manager will be responsible for managing the marketing and digital strategy and presence for Dickies Arena and Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, creative and analytical and has experience in traditional marketing and a passion for digital and social marketing.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns include digital, print, radio and outdoor to drive ticket sales and create awareness
  • Develop marketing plans and strategies for upcoming events
  • Implement marketing plans including creation of advertising materials, media buying, promotions, grassroots, interactive efforts and public relations for events
  • Develop strategies for Dickies Arena’s digital marketing program to achieve reach and engagement goals across social platforms and websites, including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Coordinate marketing efforts between promoters, artist management and local media
  • Work closely with creative team to produce assets for marketing campaigns and for other departments
  • Generate engaging social media content
  • Monitor site traffic and analytics across all digital platforms
  • Create and manage all email campaigns
  • Develop and implement paid digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels
  • Assist with creating strategies to increase fan experience through analytical research and building fan profiles
  • Develop new ways to generate ticket sales and improve ROI through digital channels
  • Analyze sales and generate leads through Google Analytics, Came from Codes and other channels
  • Proactively research trends, best practices and emerging technologies to stay on the forefront of new media and establish Dickies Arena as a leader in social media
  • Manage content on the Dickies Arena website
  • Handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and select holidays, in addition to traditional business hours
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, CRM and basic HTML and website management
  • Experience analyzing social and digital data
  • Experience in creating still graphics and videos for online use
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written skills in the English language required
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and project management skills required
  • An in-depth understanding of the Fort Worth market and media landscape preferred
  • Creativity and a desire to constantly explore new ideas for content and campaigns
  • Proven record of creating promotions and platforms that result in revenue opportunities
  • Problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in developing and completing projects
  • Meets or exceeds timelines in a fast-paced environment
 
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, advertising or other related field
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time marketing, sports industry or digital agency
