Accounts Payable Manager

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is accepting applications for Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Manager is responsible for accounts payable and billing, vendor management, independent contractors, phone and internet, administrative compliance and safety.

 

Duties include but not limited to: accountable for performing the day to day process of accounts payable transactions; reconciling processed work; maintaining files and documentation; allocation of expenses; payment of all bills and invoices; process requisitions; review and match receipts; monthly closing activities; accountable for building and maintain relationships with vendors; maintain and processing vendor contracts; compliance with all laws and regulations; management of phone and internet vendors; administrative compliance and be positive role model.

 

This job is performed in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud and at times loud. Work sites are located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. There is potential for exposure to germs and illnesses. Employees are to follow all safety procedures and protocols.

 

Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Associates Degree in Accounting OR high school diploma/equivalent experience
  • Three years relevant experience

  • Ability to work regular business hours
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to think critically and logically
  • Ability to identify and correct financial discrepancies
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Efficient typing skills and administrative or clerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and possess good judgement
  • Experience with google suite and Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of vendor management processes
  • Must be able to pass agency background screens and drug screen at any time
  • Position requires driving personal vehicle. Candidate must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties

 

Salary & Benefits

Minimum Salary: $52,800 (exempt full time)
