You'll Get To...

  • Provide temporary financial assistance to newly arrived refugees and empower clients towards economic self-sufficiency.
  • Screen clients for eligibility and provide assistance with application for benefits.
  • Monitor compliance and issue payments for monthly allowances. 
  • Issue payments for rent, allowance, utilities, or other basic needs and document all transactions.
  • Complete referrals to employment providers for all RCA recipients and monitor participation with employment providers.
  • Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funding requirements and agency quality assurance standards.   
  • Prepare and maintain detailed case files, required forms, and reports. 

 

Are you the newest RCA Case Manager?

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with refugee populations and their needs preferred. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. 
  • Proficiency in refugee language preferred. 
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current TX driver's license, and evidence of auto liability insurance. 
  • Must be willing to drive agency vehicle as well as personal vehicles for job purposes.
