The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County (BGCGTC) has served our communities’ youth since 1926. The Club has evolved from its origin as a premier youth development organization into a community-based organization aimed at improving the health, well-being, and livelihood for those in the community. As the oldest and largest Boys & Girls Club in the state, BGCGTC is regarded as one of the highest performing Clubs every year nationally, serving over 31,000 youth. The Club’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. 


About the role:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for a new exciting role of College Internship Program Manager. The College Internship Program Manager is responsible for partnerships, recruitment, internship program curriculum, internship program implementation, relationship management, administrative compliance, safety and attendance. 


Duties include but not limited to: build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges and universities; represent organization at various events, recruit potential interns, create and evaluate program curriculum, coordinate and implement program curriculum, coordinate activities and trainings, problem solving, relationship management, and administrative compliance. 


Work sites are located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and at times moderate or very loud. Position requires working with large groups of youth. 



Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or similar major 
  • Recruitment experience 
  • PHR preferred


Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

  • Ability to work regular business and program hours
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Highly proactive, action oriented, results oriented and self-starter
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; team player
  • Excellent problem solving skills and possess good judgement
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
  • Knowledge of basic business practices
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices
  • Must be able to pass agency background screens and drug screen at any time
  • Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties


Pay & Benefits

Minimum Pay: $20.00 per hour
