Corporate Engagement Director (Full-Time)
Empowering communities to eliminate hunger by providing food, education and resources through innovation and collaboration.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners to secure charitable gifts.
1) Build and maintain relationships with corporations and the business community.
2) Create and execute strategic development plans for obtaining support, including annual donations, major gifts, cause-marketing, employee giving and sponsorships.
3) Foster the collaborative, investment-focused nature of corporate philanthropy.
4) Make presentations soliciting charitable support and appear at third-party events.
5) Prepare annual revenue and expense budget for corporate giving.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum 10 years of development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical Proficiency
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, and fundraising software
Communication Skills
Influential and effective in speaking, writing and presenting information; ability to deliver professional presentations
Other Competencies
Ability to work effectively with volunteer boards, committees, community groups and organizations; strategic thinker with experience in developing and executing fundraising activities; knowledge of philanthropic community; compassion for our mission
