You'll get to...

  • Support grant proposals, applications, and reports by gathering, compiling, and formatting information.

  • Assist with database entry tracking grant timelines

  • Managing communication with funders and tracking metrics for reports.

  • Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities.

  • Write frequent prospect briefings for the use of the grants team.

  • Assist with contacting new funders as needed and setting up introductions.

  • Provide general support to the Grants and Foundation team and work on special projects when called for. 

  • Communicate with prospective funders, and assisting with relationship management

Are you the newest Program Specialist-Grant Development?

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of experience and education required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in grant development and/or donor cultivation with an emphasis on writing.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing, and English language communication skills
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in web-based database

  • Full-Time position with an hourly range of $20-$24, based on skills and experience.
