TICKETS ON SALE FOR INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED ‘LIGHTSCAPE’ AT FORT WORTH BOTANIC GARDEN, RUNNING NOV. 18 THROUGH JAN. 8

Following sold-out runs in the world’s largest cities including London, Melbourne, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, the internationally acclaimed Lightscape will make its North Texas debut at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden on Nov. 18 and run on select nights through Jan. 8, 2023. Bank of America, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, has signed on as the presenting sponsor of Lightscape at the 120-acre Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

With a sold-out crowd expected, attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets as early as possible. Tickets are on sale now at https://fwbg.org/lightscape at the following price levels:
  • Adults: $28*
  • Children (ages 3-12): $18*
  • Infants (0-2 years old): free
  • Groups of 20 or more: 10% off
  • VIP Experience (includes on-site parking): $60

With entry times available every 15 minutes from 5:45 to 9 p.m. nightly, ticketholders will walk an illuminated 1.2-mile-long path with suspended strands and tunnels of light, a fire garden, an undulating wave of bluebonnets, singing trees, treetop sculptures, and other artistic installations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to toast marshmallows over a fire and drink hot chocolate and other seasonal drinks at stations along the trail. 
 
Lightscape at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden also includes 10 custom-designed installations specifically curated for Fort Worth that come to life after dark with color, imagination, and sound. These include:
  • Lilies – 12 giant illuminated floating lilies with magical reflections that dance on the surface of ponds of water.
  • Leaf Fall – 32 individually floating illuminated leaves that bring to life the often-dismissed beauty of falling leaves.
  • Singing Tree – An illuminated tree that reacts to the sound of music, with crescendos building from its roots to the tip of its trunk through its branches.
  • Neon Strings – Neon-coated strings that weave intricate illuminated lines within tree branches, creating geometric patterns in the dark.
  • Lomandra Grasses – 10 handmade native Lomandra grasses with light fittings that bathe the landscape in an ever-changing array of colors and patterns.
  • The Rose Garden – A sprawling installation of 5,000 handmade color-changing roses with life-like silk leaves.
  • Bluebonnets – A field of 2,000 bluebonnets that come to life at dusk and bathe the landscape in bold blue and white LED pixel lights.
  • Winter Cathedral – An 18-foot-tall, 110-foot-long cathedral that guides guests through a long tunnel illuminated by tens of thousands of LED light globes.
  • Fire Garden – Structures that fill the landscape with real fire created from hand-poured candles accompanied by contemplative music.
  • Triangulate – A 210-foot-long prism tunnel made up of 19 LED triangles creating an immersive sound and light experience.
Other important details for Lightscape ticketholders include:
  • The average tour time from start to finish is 1.5 hours, although there is no time limit.
  • VIP Experience tickets grant exclusive "arrive anytime" access within the chosen date, as well as one VIP parking spot within the onsite parking lot.
  • Guests should plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their entry time slot, allowing time to park, ride the shuttle. and check-in.
  • Early entry cannot be accommodated. Late entry is not guaranteed and will be granted at the discretion of the box office.
  • Guests should dress appropriately for an outdoor walking experience.
  • Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the Garden.
  • If the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, the Garden’s decision to cancel the event will be made at 2 p.m. on the day of the event. If Lightscape is canceled, ticket holders will be notified by text message of any cancellation and the re-booking process.

    • Note: Parking fees will not apply to those arriving via a rideshare vehicle. Rideshare vehicles should enter at the Garden’s North entrance, located at Trail and University Drives.
