BLAST II builds from original BLAST and enhances skills for first aid and CPR procedures. Students learn how to apply tourniquets\, stop bleeding\, respond to emergency situations\, and participate in mock emergency first aid situation and scenarios. Topics include: Background Information - Action at an Emergency - Finding Out What's Wrong- CPR\, Bleeding and Wounds - Shock - Burns - Head and Spinal Injuries - Chest\, Abdominal\, and Pelvic Injuries - Bone\, Joint and Muscle Injuries - Sudden Illnesses - Poisoning - Bites and Stings - Heat and Cold Related Emergencies - Rescuing and Moving Victims. Includes Student Exam and Skills Check. Students receive Color First Aid/CPR Student Handbook (8 ½ X 11) for all first aid injuries and CPR procedures (151 pages)\, First Aid Kit\, a Certificate of Completion\, First Aid/CPR Wallet ID card and classroom handouts!
