DESCRIPTION:COUNTRY MUSIC STARS CONVERGE JULY 9TH TO BRING RELIEF TO FIRE-RAVAGED POSSUM KINGDOM FIRST RESPONDERS “Buckets and Boots” ranch bash\, music festival and fundraiser organized by local landowners FORT WORTH\, TEXAS (June 22\, 2011) – Country music’s biggest stars are coming to Palo Pinto County\, Texas\, for the “Buckets & Boots” ranch bash on Saturday\, July 9th\, 2011\, to benefit local fire departments hit hard by this spring’s devastating wild fires. The event\, featuring Grammy-nominated artist Pat Green\, Randy Rogers\, Grammy winner Lee Ann Womack\, Wade Bowen\, Bobby Duncan and others (to be announced)\, will take place at the Rocker B Ranch located at 1125 Chaney Lane in Graford\, Texas. “We’re incredibly excited about the lineup of artists who have committed to this event\,” said event spokesman Lance Byrd. “These guys are so busy\, and for them to take a Saturday night to play this concert for free is an absolutely amazing gesture. It’s great to see people come together inatime of crisis for the benefit of Texas.” Organizers of the Buckets and Boots Ranch Bash\, theBuckets and Boots Foundation\, pledge 100 percent of the event proceeds to the 11 fire departments in Palo Pinto County. In addition\, the Buckets and Boots Foundation is providing two complimentary eventtickets to each volunteer firefighter. “Much of Palo Pinto County was devastated despite thevaliant efforts of local volunteer firefighters and other first responders. More than 400 structures\, including 149 homes and two churches\, were destroyed. On top of that\, safety services departmentsdepleted their funds fighting the fires and are now in major need of the funds required to maintaincritical operations\,” said Mr. Byrd. The majority of the event’s expenses have been covered bylocalindividuals and businesses\, including Title Sponsors NRA Country\, The Wildcatter Restaurant and KEG1 Distributors (Coors Light and Miller Light). General admission tickets are $100 each and areavailable online at www.bucketsandboots.org or the day of the concert at the on-site box office located near the front gate beginning at 10 a.m. Limited RV parking isavailable for an additional donation\, but also requires individual ticket purchase for the concert.Regular parking is available on the concert grounds beginning at 1 p.m. Concertgoers may enjoyfood and beverages for purchase on the festival grounds. General admission seating is on a grass lawn (no other seating is provided). Attendees may bring blankets and lawn chairs to be placedin the general admission seating area. No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the festival grounds\, butwill be sold during the event. The concerts are slated to begin around 5 p.m. and will go until midnight.
