We look forward to growing closer as a community through this trip\, as well as generating specific ideas from a benchmark city to address opportunities in Fort Worth related to economic prosperity.\n\n \n\nIn Phoenix\, our focus will be on economic development strategies\, talent development with universities and sports tourism including:\n\n\n How the economic development strategies of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce are impacting the region\n How Phoenix is developing youth and amateur sports tourism for economic impact and bringing families to the city\n How the Phoenix Convention Center expansion is an economic benefit and attracts key industries like bio-medical conferences\n How talent/workforce gaps are being solved by partnerships between higher education institutions and businesses \n\nWhat is included:\n\n\n Welcome Reception on Sunday\, October 13\n 3 day\, 2 night stay at the Phoenix Biltmore\, a Waldorf Astoria Resort\n Transportation from the airport to hotel and around Phoenix\n Visits with city and community leaders\n All meals\n Discounted rate to extend your stay at the Biltmore 3 days before and after the City Visit\n\n Guests will secure their own airfare to and from Phoenix.
