DESCRIPTION:Mike Eastland\, executive director of North Central Texas Concil of Governments\, will speak on transportation and air quality issues facing north central Texas.  These are interesting\, pertinent\, and timely topics Mr. Eastland will be discussing\, and the Chamber encourages members to attend.   In addition\, Congressman Michael Burgess\, U.S. Representative from Texas\, will be speaking to the group on issues relevant to us in Fort Worth from a federal government perspective. Economic Development Council meetings provide an opportunity for the Fort Worth Chamber's economic development staff and other featured guests to brief members on activities of the previous quarter\, including  local business retention and expansion\, international business development\, business recruitment\, and research updates.
