Have you been out to the Base in a while? If you haven’t -- or if you’ve never been to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base here in Fort Worth --well\, then it’s high time you visited and meet the Commander for lunch.
The West Area Council of the Fort Worth Chamber welcomes Capt. Robert A. Bennett\, who assumed command last summer. \; Bennett\, who was born in Fredericksburg\, Va. in 1966\, graduated in 1988 from the University of Arizona. He received a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and received his commission through the Navy ROTC program. Upon completion of flight training with Squadron Training 3 (VT-3) and Helicopter Training Squadron 18 (HT-18) in October 1990\, he was designated a Naval Aviator. Since then\, he’s served throughout the world and earned numerous commendations.
The base employs more than 11\,000 here in Fort Worth\, and plays a pivotal role in training and equipping air crews and aviation ground support personnel.
All drivers will need a driver’s license\, proof or Insurance and registration to gain access onto the base.
