DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the September Job Links event at TCU in the Brown-Lupton University Union.  Special guest speaker is Sal Adamski from Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County.  Sal will give us an update on the economic outlook of Tarrant County. \n\n\n\nPlease register as either an:\n\nOrganization Attendee https://joblinkstarrant.eventbrite.com \n\nOR\n\nBusiness Presenter https://joblinkstarrantprovider.eventbrite.com\n\nBusiness Presenter panel openings are limited at the September event due to guest speaker\, Sal Adamski from Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County.  Register early to guarantee your panel spot.  Presenters are given two minutes to promote current job openings. \nSal Adamski has been a professional trainer\, public speaker\, and workforce development professional for over 20 years and has presented at numerous state and national conferences. He is currently the Workforce Improvement Director for Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County\, Texas. His department has been instrumental in the Board receiving 20 state and national awards\, including the National Alliance of Business award for National Workforce Board\, Texas Veterans Commission's Workforce Board of the Year and the National Association of Workforce Board's Ted Small award for industry sector initiatives.\n\nSal is the Past Board Chair of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals and recipient of the Associations H.B Weisman national award for Workforce Excellence. He was nominated as Patriot of the Year by the Texas Veterans Commission\, and served as Vice Chair of the Employment and Training advisory council for the Texas Veterans Commission. Sal also served on the Board of Directors for the Veterans Coalition of Tarrant County\, the Arlington Unmanned Vehicle Consortium and the Fort Worth Chambers Local Business council. He works closely with Tarrant County Chambers to recruit and retain businesses in Tarrant County. Sal is retired from the U.S. Navy and holds a Business Management degree from Alameda College and Marketing degree from Columbia College. He attained his CWDP (Certified Workforce Development Professional) status in 1999.
