DESCRIPTION:On June 12\, 2014\, Garden Terrace Alzheimer`s Center of Excellence will host the 2nd Annual Memories in the Spring Art Gala. Artist from TCU will showcase their work along side Garden Terrace residents who participate in a program called Memories in the Making. This unique program allows those who have lost the ability to express themselves to have a creative outlet while carrying out memories and thoughts from their intriguing and moving past.\n\n\n\nLast year's gala was well attended raising over $1\,700 for the Alzheimer`s Association. Live music\, hors d`oeuvres\, refreshments and valet parking will be available to our guests. All artwork featured in the gala will be for bid with Memories in the Making proceeds going to benefit the Alzheimer`s Association. TCU artists\, alumni and students will also have their work for sale.\n\n\n\nContact Rachel Riewe\, Director of Marketing\, for more information. RSVP is required to attend the event.
