DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 19th to celebrate National Aviation Day! At the Fort Worth Aviation Museum\, we always invite you to get up close and explore our collection of aircraft\, but on National Aviation Day we will be offering open cockpits\, games\, prizes\, raffles\, snow cones\, special photo opportunities\, and more!\n\nPurchase a $5 ticket onsite (or 4 for $16) to ride in an authentic WWII Jeep on museum grounds\, experience an in-flight simulator\, participate in a paint an airplane craft\, and be entered in the raffle. The jeep rides\, craft\, and simulator will be 1 ticket. One ticket\, one entry to the raffle to win merchandise from The Wright Brothers USA or a model aircraft. National Aviation Day was created in 1939 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in honor of Orville Wright's birthday.\n\nKona Ice will be at the museum from 11am   2pm serving ice-cold snow cones!
