SUMMARY:Net@Nite Hosted by Women Influencing Business
DESCRIPTION:Join us November 6\, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Frank Kent Motors for a Net@Nite after hours hosted by Women Influencing Business. The story of Frank Kent Motors is as much a part of Fort Worth's history as any in the business. Born in 1895 in Missouri\, Frank D. Kent discovered Fort Worth shortly before he left for WWI\, and also the love of his life\, Florence Mary Peak Jones\, daughter of the first child born in Fort Worth. It was a challenge from the Webb-North Motor Company that got him in the business. Could he sell one car before he returned to Missouri? He sold four and the rest is history. The family dynasty became a legend in Fort Worth and when Corrie and Will Churchill\, inherited the business in 2005 after the death of their mother\, they continued the model begun by Frank D.: "A dollar's worth of merchandise or service for every dollar charged." Corrie and Will also support a number of Texas songwriters and musicians such as Bonnie Bishop\, continuing the traditions of the family in giving back to Fort Worth and Texas. Gold Sponsor is Sanford\, Baumeister & Frazier. For more information about WIB\, contact Dugan at ddugan@fortworthchamber.com or 817-336-2491 x 258.
