DESCRIPTION:FWC invites you to join Office Hours: Continuing the Discussion of LGBTQ+ in the Workplace on March 9 from 4 PM - 6 PM. Office Hours is an event hosted by FWC Area Boards that provide focused conversations on trending business issues. This session topic is a continued conversation from 2021 and will provide knowledge and awareness on the diverse experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. \n\n \nPANELISTS\n \n\nShannon Scoggins\, Ph.D.\, a clinical psychologist for the VA Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic\, where she serves as the primary point of contact for transgender Veterans seeking gender-affirming care and also conducts training on this topic for fellow staff. She also serves on the Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity Committee and facilitates LGBTQ+ Clinical Consultation for the entire North Texas VA Health Care System. Other areas of specialty include providing evidence-based therapies for PTSD\, insomnia\, panic attacks\, and anxiety disorders.\n\n\n\nSara Fairley\, Program Director for Leadership Fort Worth?s Leadership Class and Edge programs. Prior to joining the Leadership Fort Worth team\, she was the Chief Social Programs Officer for RAICES\, the largest legal nonprofit in Texas. Prior to RAICES\, Sara lived and worked in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants\, a national agency supporting initial resettlement into the U.S. \n\n \n \n\n\n\nMODERATOR \n\n\nDion Harrison\, Chief Diversity Officer & Sr. Director Product\, Elevate.
