DESCRIPTION:POZ Magazine's founder and advisory editor and author of Body Counts: A Memoir of Politics\, Sex\, AIDS and Survival\, Sean Strub will speak Thursday\, August 21 at the Arlington Museum of Art. Sponsored by Friends of AOC\, the event will benefit AIDS Outreach Center.  Strub is a long-time activist and writer who has been HIV positive for more than 33 years. He presently serves as the executive director of the Sero Project\, a network of people with HIV fighting for freedom from stigma and injustice and as treasurer of the U.S. Caucus of PWHA Organizations served on the board of directors of the Global Network of People living with HIV/AIDS from 2009 to 2012. \n\n\n\nTickets are $75 and tax deductible. The public is invited but seating is limited. Register at www.aoc.org/donate. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar by The Meadows Foundation of Dallas.
