DESCRIPTION:Dr. Kent Scribner Dr. Patricia Linares\n\n\n\nBy now I'm sure you've heard the good news about confirmation of Fort Worth ISD's new Superintendent Dr. Kent Paredes Scribner.\n\n\n\nDr. Scribner is currently the superintendent of the Phoenix Union High School District in Phoenix\, Arizona\, a post he has held since 2008. Phoenix Union serves more than 27\,000 students in grades 9 through 12. In the interim\, he will spend several days per week learning more about the Fort Worth\, its students\, teachers\, staff and community.\n\n\n\nBe one of the first to welcome him at our annual State of Education luncheon\, and hear his ideas on preparing students for college or careers and building the talent pipeline here in Fort Worth.
