DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT\n\n\n\nThe Chamber is kicking off the fall event season September 7 with our annual State of the County luncheon\, where Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley will inform us about transportation projects\, property tax issues\, new construction throughout the County\, public health initiatives\, early childhood education\, and what's going on with the Rangers stadium among other county priorities.\n\n \n\nThe Chamber will honor UNTHSC / TCU MD School with the 6th Annual Vandergriff Award\, presented annually to a legacy individual or organization whose contributions have positively impacted Tarrant County. The MD program is an extension of the two universities' longstanding collaboration on science and health care issues affecting the Fort Worth Community and will use the expertise of faculty from both schools to teach in the program. The school plans to begin accepting applications in the fall of 2017.\n\n\n\n\n\nWould you like to be a sponsor for the State of the County Luncheon?
