DESCRIPTION:Native Prairies Association of Texas and Coastal Prairie Partnership are hosting the 5th annual State of the Prairie conference Prairies in a Changing World at Fort Worth Botanic Garden in Fort Worth from May 29-31\, 2014. This annual statewide conference highlights Texas' native prairies & the people who preserve\, restore & appreciate them. This year's presenters will cover land management techniques such as prescribed burns\, native wildflower & grass seeding\, prairie wildlife conservation & management\, pollinator management\, restoration after energy production\, bison ecology\, and prairie teaching techniques\; among many other topics.\n\n\n\nPresentations and field experiences should interest private landowners\, restorationists\, biologists\, landscape architecture professionals\, educators and individuals working to conserve and rebuild prairies and their wildlife. Included in the registration fee of $150: all presentations\, Thursday evening social hour\, light breakfast snacks Friday/Saturday\, lunch Thursday-Saturday\, awards dinner Friday\, field trip Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning\, Thursday field trip ($30 additional) Register online at http://prairiepartner.org/
