DESCRIPTION:Tod Conner was 14 and diagnosed with synovial sarcoma of the left knee when he first visited MD Anderson in Houston for cancer care and chemo. With the recurrence of a tumor less than two years later\, Tod lost his left leg above the knee as a teenager in 1986.  Inspired to help others with cancer\, Tod attended medical school at UT-Houston and did a pediatric residency at Memorial Hermann / UT- Houston and MDA. He now practices community pediatrics in Sulphur Springs at Trinity Clinic and is Chief of Pediatrics for Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.  Dr. Tod Conner recounts his struggles and his success story at the at the next Vision Fort Worth luncheon….
