Mark Strama\, a Texas native elected to office in 2004\, has been instrumental in getting young people to get out and vote. As program director for MTV's Rock the Vote he helped in registering more than one million new voters. In addition\, he founded the first company to allow voters to register online\, bringing the convenience of new technology to the democratic process. Marc Veasey has lived in Fort Worth nearly his entire life and has earned a reputation as someone who works hard to be visible in the community. He’s passionate about increasing economic opportunities for small and minority/women owned business in the Metroplex and is always supportive of legislation that is aimed at giving hard working entrepreneurs the chance to succeed in our economy.
