This year marks the 100th anniversary of the United States entering “the Great War,” which later became known as World War I. Now, you have the chance to visit the Fort Worth Library to see how war introduced Texas to the world and the world to Texas — and how neither would ever be the same again.
Join the Central Area Council for a Social Reception and special tour of the WWI Exhibit at the Fort Worth Central Library!
End your day with a cool drink and hors d'ouerves while connecting with other members and touring the exhibit.
Special Guest Speaker: Brittany Spraggins, Fort Worth Aviation Museum, will speak to the group about the exhibit and the history of WWI in Fort Worth.
Don't miss this great networking event and chance to view the exhibit!
At 5:30 pm, stay and view All Quiet on the Western Front, in the Tandy Lecture Hall.
The social reception will be from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
