EEU is looking for an Indirect Funding Supervisor that will be responsible for training, coaching and developing Indirect Funders by ensuring that dealer contracts, D&M Lease agreements, and Lenders Protection loans are within EECU and State compliance, not limited to verifying interest rates, terms and contract advances, along with verifying that the original approval is met.
Key responsibilities for the Indirect Funding Supervisor will be to assists Indirect Funding Manager on ensuring department is properly staffed, manages overtime, reviews, as well as responsible for tracking attendance, production, exceptions, and signs off on timesheets. Indirect Funding Supervisor will assist Indirect Funding Manager on writing reviews for the Indirect Funders. The Indirect Funding Supervisor will work directly with funders whose exceptions are greater than required for review purposes by working closely with the applicable funders on method that helps reduce exceptions, which promotes stronger member and dealer relations, and internal and/or external audits. Indirect Funding Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all EECU and State documents are provided from dealership in loan package. Position will work directly with dealer to obtain any outstanding documentation to ensure the received packet is within compliance. Position is also responsible for other duties as assigned by the Indirect Lending Funding Manager. Indirect Funding Supervisor will also review incoming indirect contracts, assist with funding Indirect Retail, D&M and Lender’s Protection contracts, as well as provide backup assistance to both the Indirect Servicing and Auditing areas. Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg. B, Reg. Z, Reg. DD, Reg. E, Reg. CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:
Ø Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Financial Institution
Ø Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience, supervising a team of minimum 5+ employees
Ø Must have Indirect Auto Lending experience in funding with preferred indirect lending background
Ø Must have either a Credit Union or Financial background, as well as a compliance background
Ø Must understand how to properly read LAW-553 Contracts
Ø Must be extremely detailed and able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere
Ø Excellent time management skills
Ø Experience in motivating, negotiating, and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Ø Proficiency in Excel & Word required
