System Software Administrator I - Fort Worth

EECU is looking for a Software Systems Administrator I (SSA) that will manage and support the more than 50 on premise, hosted, and cloud-based member and employee systems of the Credit Union.

This position is eligible for $1,500 sign-on bonus.

 

Key responsibilities for this position will be to ensure that system assets are used to provide stable, reliable, consistent, efficient platform and business processes and ensures that all production schedules are completed successfully and accurately. This position will be assigned ownership of multiple systems, and will have ultimate responsibility for documentation, system improvements, updates, patches, and day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will deliver support to end users in the organization providing assistance/training on the various systems to fulfill business objectives. Responsible for troubleshooting applications and software to identify defects and influence the development of workarounds in resolving issues related to the systems. This role also serves critical support for Help Desk, providing additional queue coverage and support escalation. Though primarily an in-office job, there will be times when it will be necessary to complete tasks at night or on weekends. In addition, the position requires participation in weekly rotated on-call phone support schedule. 

 

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • Highly self-motived and directed 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Strong technical understanding of multiple system and process 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of the credit union software applications and a working knowledge of network/PC operating systems, peripheral equipment required
  • Ability to conduct research into software development and delivery concepts, as well as technical applications issue
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Relevant computer skills
  • College degree preferred
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant’s credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions. 

 

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg E and Reg CC. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
