Community Storehouse is hiring a Special Events Manager in Fort Worth, Texas!
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, people-oriented, and achievement-oriented. Duties include:
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, Leadership Team, staff, community leaders, donors, and volunteers.
  • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance, and no drama.
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround, without drama.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information; Excellent judgment is essential.

Our programs are strategically designed to address unmet, identified needs for the children within our community. Studies show that the education stage of a child's life is crucial to their long-term success and can even break the cycle of generational poverty. Knowledge is power, and we're working to help children have all the power they can through education.
But we can't do it without support. Every year, we provide more that 5,000 services a month, and none of them would happen without people and corporations who volunteer or donate. In addition, all the proceeds from our resale shop fund our programs and services.
