Job Description
Digital intern needed for Marketing & Communications departments of Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce to contribute in the areas of membership, events and programs, and our young professionals initiative.
Wage: $10 / hr. + parking in downtown Fort Worth. And/OR, will provide hours for course credit.

Hours: 20 hrs./wk – flexible schedule (office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., M-F). Students who can work during 11 a.m.-2 p.m. preferred due to number of Chamber luncheons scheduled.

Location:  downtown Fort Worth, 777 Taylor St., Ste 900 (Chamber offices in the Fort Worth Club Tower)

Duties include:
Design and Layout of small publications, i.e. event programs, PPTs, Media Directory
Assist with event registration, coordination
Event photography, videography, posting photos / videos online
Website updates using CMS
Social media ideas, support, graphics
Writing, editing, proofing news stories, web content and other documents
Publication sales fulfillment (mailings)
Filing, copying, misc.
Respond to student and public inquiries for Fort Worth information, research info online
Attend and contribute to staff meetings

Skills Required: telephone etiquette, customer service attitude, promptness, resourcefulness, accuracy, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Skills Preferred: MS Publisher, Picture Manager; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Movie Maker; photography and database experience.

Dress required: Business casual; business on luncheon days
