3rd Thursday Jazz: Billy Hart Quartet
Take a musical journey from the early 20th-century roots of jazz to the diverse sounds of today at the Fort Worth Library’s 3rd Thursday Jazz Series, featuring a dynamic lineup of local and internationally touring artists.
September is our featured performance with the Billy Hart Quartet. Drummer and bandleader Billy Hart has performed and recorded with the likes of Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter and Stan Getz. This award-winning quartet – consisting of pianist Ethan Iverson (of The Bad Plus), saxophonist Mark Turner and bassist Ben Street – is making its DFW debut.
