Blue Zones Healthy Grocery Store Tour

Blue Zones Project is here to help make healthy choices easier when shopping at Approved grocery stores.

Join us for a free healthy shopping tour at Approved store, Central Market, guided by TCU – Texas Christian University Dietetics and Nutrition students. This tour gives customers a look at each of the unique departments at Central Market and how to make healthy selections. Participants will learn tips for healthy shopping including basic label reading, nutrient benefits of various foods, tips for healthy snacking, and also—information about the diets of the longest lived people, those living in the original Blue Zones® areas. Age is 21 and up.
