“We all smiled because it was the truth: Living did take a lot more guts than giving up.” ~ Brendan Halpin
For the more than 70,000 North Texans suffering with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, the term “guts” has many connotations. The guts to fight everyday to overcome the challenges of these diseases. The courage to endure painful symptoms that often affect their gut. The bravery to tell their story in order to encourage others.
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America is providing hope and inspiring action to find a cure and to improve the quality of lives for both children and adults suffering with these diseases. On September 8th, Tarrant County residents come together in a networking style atmosphere to learn more about CCFA’s Volunteers with Guts.
Please join CCFA staff, the CCFA Tarrant County leadership board, current volunteers, Tarrant County leaders, and other patients to learn the inspiring stories and how you can get involved and make a difference in the lives of patients.
