HEALTH & LONGEVITY
Join the FWC for Small Business Hot Topics on Thursday, February 5th from 12 PM - 1 PM. This bi-monthly lunch and learn series is designed to educate small business owners and provide resources to assist in today's business challenges.
February's session will feature Jeka Sisco-Phillps, a registered nurse, board-certified health and wellness coach, and yoga instructor, who will lead a timely conversation on longevity. No longer just a buzz word, but a foundational element of sustainable business leadership. For small business owners, your health isn't separate from your business, it's what allows you to lead, make decision, manage stress, and show up consistently for your team and customers.
During this session, Jeka will break down how everyday choices around sleep, nutrition, movement, stress management, and connection quietly compound over time. These habits don't just influence how long we live; they determine how well we operate as business owners, leaders, and decision-makers.
What we'll cover:
Why health matters for business owners: You can't run your business without it
Longevity and performance: How energy, focus, and resilience impact leadership and decision-making
Preventative health strategies: Shifting from reactive care to sustainable, proactive habits
Small changes, long-term impact: Practical steps that support both life and business success
Whether you're focused on maintaining energy, avoiding burnout, or ensuring you can lead your business for years to come, this session will provide practical, real-world insights to help you invest in your health and your business with intention.
