Lena Pope is a nonprofit organization that equips children, families, caregivers, and our community with a strong foundation through counseling, education, and behavior interventions.
Lena Pope uses evidence-based, research-tested approaches, decades of experience, and support from the community to help children and families thrive.
Lena Pope strives to be the community resource children and families can turn to for support at all stages of life. Our goal is to offer accessible services that enable families to work through challenges together and find hope and healing.
Lena Pope directly serves more than 4,000 individuals, children, and families in Tarrant County and surrounding counties.
Research shows that when families and communities focus on children’s strengths, it leads to better overall well-being for the child. Reinforcing these positive factors helps children become more resilient and grow into healthy, successful adults.
In order to help children thrive, we must understand and address both the child and the family unit as a whole, by providing support for physical, emotional, behavioral, social, and cognitive needs.
Safe and supportive environments are important for the growth and development of the skills children need to succeed. Every child and family faces challenges, but they also have strengths they can use to overcome them. Lena Pope is here to equip children, families, caregivers, and community with a strong foundation through counseling, education and behavior interventions.
