Luther King Capital Management is an SEC registered investment advisory firm founded by J. Luther King, Jr. in 1979 with an initial client located in Fort Worth, Texas. LKCM provides investment advisory services to high net worth individuals, foundations, endowments, investment companies, pension and profit sharing plans, trusts and estates, and other organizations.
LKCM is owned and controlled by employees of the firm. LKCM has 80 employees, including 48 investment and other professionals with many educational and professional designations, including CFA (30), MBA (31), and CPA (7). At March 31, 2015, LKCM had $14.6 billion in assets under management.
