Organized in the fall of 2000, Southeast Fort Worth, Inc's (SEFWI) Mission is to continue to promote and maintain economic development of the southeast area of Fort Worth through collaborative efforts with neighborhood organizations, governmental entities and other community stakeholders. The vision is for Southeast Fort Worth to become a great place to live, learn, work, do business, and shop. Residents of the area know that many of these lifestyle characteristics exist today. There are beautiful and affordable neighborhoods with good education and open space amenities. But, in the realm of economic development, the southeast Area has been underserved for at least the past three decades. Leaders of the area and community see this as a strategic opportunity for business development, workforce development, and retail development.
Southeast Fort Worth, Inc.is committed to the following pillars: Community Development, Affordable Housing, Small Business Development, Economic Development, Neighborhood Revitalization, and Financial Education within Southeast Fort Worth.
