A Little Look at Manners - Grades 4-5

A Little Look at Manners – Revised Course Description Students will enjoy a "Simulated Elegant Dining Experience" with Elegant Linen Table Cloth, Napkins, Centerpiece, Silverware and Water Goblets right in the classroom! Students will learn that manners are more than simple rules to remember but are a way of showing love and respect. This fun workshop includes: Meeting and Greetings, Introductions, Table Settings, Using Utensils, How to Properly Butter and Eat a Dinner Roll (Fun Tutorial at the Table) Party Time Etiquette (I'm Really Glad You Came), Grateful Manners (Thank You and I'm Glad You Came!) Thank You Notes and Being a Good Guest. Students will have fun passing food around the “simulated dining table” and enjoy Juice, Rolls and Butter, Cupcakes and/Cookies. Students can bring additional snacks and refreshments.Includes a Mini Graduation Ceremony (Parents Welcome),Certificate of Completion, Table Setting Example and great Handouts for Parents to use at Home!
