The soon-to-be breakout star of the new Netflix show Grace and Frankie, Baron Vaughn is bringing his absurdist take on such subjects as race, relationships, Cocoa Puffs and credit scores to Fort Worth for a special two-night stand-up comedy event.
Vaughn is known for an act as energetic as it is intelligent, with finely-crafted ramblings that shoot off into pop culture references. Case in point: a commentary on failed relationships rapidly devolves into a medley of early-90s cartoon theme songs - DuckTales, TaleSpin and Gummi Bears included.
Bonus: Buy a Martin House beer (Imperial Texan or Daybreak) and keep the pint glass.
"I'm incredibly excited to be performing at Amphibian! The energy is right. The layout is great. The people are wonderful. I'm happy that this is the place where I'll begin to create a relationship with Dallas/Fort Worth. Having attended Amphibian as an audience member, I'm sure people will find this to be the perfect environment for my style and humor. Let's get funky." - Baron Vaughn
