This year’s keynote speaker is David Owen , staff writer for The New Yorker since 1991 and author to over a dozen books, including his most recent, Green Metropolis: Why Living Smaller, Living Closer, and Driving less are the Keys to Sustainability.

 

The Amon Carter Museum of American Art , marking its 50^th anniversary, will be the recipient of the Spirit of Enterprise Award. This award is given annually to honor a local organization that has demonstrated a true commitment to business growth and community development. Ruth Carter Stevenson, daughter of Amon Carter and founder of the museum, will accept the award.
