The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce's 132nd Annual Meeting, presented by The Dannon Company will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel Grand Ballroom on Friday, June 13, 2014.
Keynote speaker is Admiral James Stavridis, USN (Ret.), NATO's 16th Supreme Allied Commander Europe and 15th Commander of the US European Command from 2009-2013. The Keynote address will be Sailing the Cyber Sea: The New Realities of 21st Century Security. Emerging security concerns will be addressed in future years with a combination of cyber capabilities, unmanned vehicles and drones and special operations forces. In particular, the reach and function of cyber tools will change how we view the world and keep ourselves safe in it. Admiral James Stavridis lays out the future of 21st century security tools that are very untraditional in their reach and application. He describes for audiences how the world of international defense is fundamentally changing before our eyes, and how that will impact business, personal life and the global marketplace.
This year, Cook Children's Health Care System will be the recipient of the Spirit of Enterprise Award. This award is given annually to honor a local organization that has demonstrated a true commitment to business growth and community development.
