Beyond Memory Gallery 76102 Exhibit at University of Texas at Arlington/Fort Worth Center

OPENING RECEPTION

The Alzheimer’s Association – North Central Texas Chapter celebrates five years of Memories in the Making, an art program for people with dementia that brings the joy of creative self-expression to residents of area dementia care communities. The enigmatic watercolor paintings by MIM artists communicate, in the subtle and nuanced language of art, a sense of self that transcends memory loss. The delightful images offer a window onto world beyond memory, words and rational thought.

Framed and matted paintings will be available for sale via online auction from January 16 through 25, allowing people to acquire unique works of art and raising money for Memories in the Making.
