Chamber Confidential - April 2026

Chamber Confidential - April 2026

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED

Chamber Confidential is a members-only monthly luncheon designed to keep Fort Worth's business community informed, connected, and ahead of what's next.

In anticipation of the significant influx of visitors to AT&T Stadium and surrounding cities for the 2026 FIFA™ World Cup, officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are offering a specialized First Observer Plus™ (FOP) training to owners and operators of area businesses highly likely to be impacted by the increased visitor traffic. Chamber members are invited to attend and take back tools from the program to their front-line employees and partners.

Additionally, our hosts at One Safe Place will share what they are doing locally to service victims of human trafficking and prevent human trafficking—an unfortunate occurrence with large events like the World Cup, Super Bowl, et al.

First Observer Plus (FOP) - About the Program

The presentation focuses on empowering frontline employees and community members to recognize and report suspicious activity. The program emphasizes that observing, assessing, and reporting is a shared responsibility under the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign.

Key takeaways include:

  • Understanding Threats: FOP covers current threat landscapes and the evolving tactics used by malicious actors targeting public spaces.
  • Behavioral Indicators: Attendees learn how to identify common behavioral indicators associated with potential security threats.
  • Reporting Mechanisms: Clear guidance is provided on the proper channels for reporting concerns, from immediate law enforcement contact for emergencies to routine reporting for less urgent observations.
  • Fort Worth’s Unique Needs: The information is specifically framed around Fort Worth’s thriving business landscape, high traffic landmark areas, FIFA Team Base Camp Host City and primary hub for visitors.
