Workshop Topic: Preparing Your Business for the Unthinkable: A Gunman in the Workplace.
 
Fort Worth Safe Communities Coalition, is led by local law enforcement, EMS, fire, mental health, business, emergency management and security experts experienced in active shooter prevention, preparation and response. The overall goal is to provide you with the information and tools you need to begin to prepare for the unthinkable.
A light breakfast and conference materials will be provided.
Overall Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

• Identify important steps that can be taken to prevent an active shooter incident at their place of business;
• List the key parts of a plan and describe how to get started making a plan; and
• Describe how law enforcement, EMS, fire and other agencies will likely respond in an active shooter scenario and how to protect yourself and co-workers.
